The electric version of Toyota iQ will debut at Tokyo Auto Show 2011, two years after the FT-EV II concept was launched.
According to Nihon Cars, Toyota will launch a full-electric version of their iQ by the end of next year. The model will be equipped with an electric motor and a set of lithium-ion batteries. Tokyo Auto Show 2011 will be the place where the electric version of Toyota iQ will have its world premiere. The model might occur in the production version only two years after the FT-EV Concept II was presented, announcing the zero CO2 emissions of iQ.
