2010 Avenger - Dodge Avenger’s latest generation

Dodge Avenger’s latest generation in nearing release, as the 2010 Avenger was showcased off-late by the Chrysler Corporation. It comes with several unique features, which were not seen in the previous generations of the Avenger.

In its early days, the Dodge Avenger was the first vehicle sold in North America with 2 door coupe during the years 1995 to 2000. The price and size of the Dodge Avenger was comparable to that of Dodge Daytona. The vehicle was discontinued in the year 2003 and later it re-entered the market in the year 2007, under the label MY2008 design.
The following features are available in the latest 2010 Avenger model -

• storage lockers at the front seats
• climate control system at the back side of the vehicle
• power outlets provided additionally
• hard drive based navigation,
• stereo and phone facility,
• child mirror to view at the interior region,
• the facility to open the doors at 90 degrees angle
• booster seats (optional)
• air bags for passengers and driver, mounted at the side, as well as curtain side,
• ABS technology brakes
• assistance for electronic mitigation.

The optional features of the new Avenger include cooled and heated cup holders and Chill zone, though the Chill Zone has been a standard feature available on all the models of Avenger. It provides the facility to store 12 US fl oz cans at a time, in one box.

The Avenger series is a smart range of cars from Mitsubishi Motors during the years 1995 to 2000 and then from 2008 to till date it is under the Chrysler LLC. Under the name of Dodge Avenger four different cars were produced, namely the Dodge Avenger (also called as Hillman Avenger), Dodge Avenger Coupe during the years 1995 to 2000, Dodge avenger concept unveiled at the Auto Show of North American International and the Dodge Avenger JS sedan, which was released in the year 2007 as a model car for 2008.

The Hillman Avenger was also named as Dodge in the countries where Hillman brand was not there. During that period Hillman was under the Chrysler Corporation. The Hillman Avenger was comparatively small in size, light weight car with drive on rear side of the vehicle and the body was designed in station wagon and sedan variants. Four cylinders were used as engines except for the vehicles produced in the South Africa as to not violate the local rules.

More specifics about the 2010 Avenger are not really known as of now, and everyone is eagerly waiting for the Dodge Chrysler duo to come up with the best of the lot in the Avenger series.
