As far as the 2010 F1 from the Lotus is concerned, the formula one car under production will be the company’s first wind tunnel model. According to the technical chief officer of Lotus, Mike Gascoyne, there is still more work to be done before the commencement of race.
New Changes
Lotus has been carefully producing the formula one car that follows the new rules. Some of the revisions to the next generation model include large fuel tanks as the refuelling is banned in between and mainly the narrower front tires. Producing the next generation F1 car has to face numerous challenges, said a spokesman from the company.
However, the 2010 F1 car will be made successfully and it is expected to roll out in mid March. There is no much information about the drivers to be participated in the race. It is expected that the Toyota driver, Jarno Trulli will drive the formula one race car for the Lotus. The 2010 F1 model comes with more power and fresh design styles, providing safety as the main concern.
